About Me

Lizabeth Knight has been a professional entertainer for over 20 years, with quite a varied career, ranging from singing opera with Mirella Freni and Placido Domingo at the Washington National Opera to being a featured comedic artist in a music video for Ken Hirai with Sony Music-Hong Kong, as well as Nevada’s representative to the Miss Plus USA Pageant.  She has an extensive background in improvisational comedy, and has served as the Emcee/Roast Mistress for many corporate and industrial events in Las Vegas.  Lizabeth is a member of the Actors Equity Association (Equity) and the American Guild of Musical Artists (AGMA), having performed musical theater roles including Domina (A Funny Thing…Forum), Sarah (Company), Mother Abbess (The Sound of Music) and Mme Thenardier (Les Miserables), with her most beloved opera roles being The Witch (Hansel and Gretel), Ciesca (Gianni Schicchi) and Lady Jane (Patience).  She worked frequently with movie legend James Stewart when she was a singing member of the Choral Society of Southern California and events manager of the Los Angeles Vocal & Instrumental Ensemble.  She has also been seen in commercials for Miller Lite (with Wayne Newton), Dockers-Europe, MGM Grand Adventures and New York-New York Hotel and Casino.

Lizabeth has traveled the world as a cruise director on 5-star cruise lines, serving as the ship’s emcee and host, “the face and voice of the ship.”  Lizabeth is an experienced interviewer who knows how to bring out the best in her guests, putting them at ease and helping them to shine.  She is also an outstanding cooking demonstrator (expert how-to or comedic how-not-to) and game show host (‘The Queen of Trivia,’ ‘The Babe of Bingo’).  When serving as a roast-mistress, Lizabeth’s alter-ego ‘Amazonia’ has been described as “the perfect combination of Mimi from the ‘Drew Carey Show’ and Elvira, Mistress of the Dark.”

Lizabeth’s management experience outside the entertainment industry has had an emphasis on new system and process implementations, change management, communications and documentation.  As a consultant to the United States federal government she worked on implementations of the President’s E-Gov Travel System initiative at various agencies, for which she received numerous accolades, most notably the Assistant Secretary’s Honor Award for Organizational Team Achievement and the Assistant Secretary’s Honor Award for Outstanding Contractor for leading the E-Gov Travel System implementation and deployment at the Administration for Children and Families.

Lizabeth grew up as an Air Force “brat”, which meant moving to a new location many (many, many!) times before graduating from high school.  This instilled in her a love of travel, and she’s happiest when discovering new places, people and cultures.  Though frequently traveling for work, she’s currently based in Las Vegas.

Lizabeth’s engaging personality, quick wit and mature confidence combine to provide clients with the professionalism (and fun!) required to ensure each event is a tremendous success!
